Who is Masamune Shirow?

Masamune Shirow is the great writer/penciller/inker/whatelse behind todays topselling high-quality comic-books like "The Ghost in The Shell". The genre of those stories is science fiction, cybernetic science fiction, fantasy science fiction. As I read lot of comics, I can say, by confronting those that are in the same genre, that the works of Masamune Shirow are for me the most accurate and at the same time "cryptic", but still amazing, that I have ever read. The love for details that Shirow puts in his drawings and as well in his stories leaves you astonished and begging for more. The details with which describes the future are so realistic, and the explanations of tecnologies immerges you in a world that seems so damn real (or at least that will be).
